The Beal Ice Line Goldendry Rope is the lightest double-dry rope around-which means wet, heavy ropes will no longer be an issue this winter. Double-dry coated (both core AND sheath are dry coated) for water resistance, the Ice Line's low impact force is great news for less-than-perfect belay points, sketchy gear placements on mixed routes and dodgy screw placements. Every Beal DryCoVer dynamic rope is treated with Durable Resistant Yarn Cover (DRYC) to increase its resistance to wear and its active lifetime. The DRYC is a durable coating and a hydrophobic cover on the yarn protecting the rope from abrasion, dirt, and moisture. In addition to the protective DRYC, the core of a Goldendry rope is treated to ensure a dry rope. The Ice Line can also be used on wandering rock climbs and traversing trad pitches.
